A woman in Pakistan has been sentenced to death for burning her daughter alive in what she explains as "honor killing".
Parveen Bibi said this in court.She described the reason behind the killing of her daughter because she " brought shame to the family" police spokeswoman Nabila Ghanzanafr confirms to CNN.Parveen's son Ahmer Rafique was sentenced to life imprisonment for his action during the incident
The late Rafique had been staying with her new husband for a month before she visited home to reconcile and settle all the grievances is going on in the family.On getting home she was tied to bed by her mother and her brother then set ablaze
Parveen gave herself to the authorities but no expressed no sorrow for her deeds
