According to investigation by Victoria Derbyshire programme, numbers of people who were scammed in the UK by fake online dating profile reached a high record last year.
One victim who is a University professor named Judith Lathlean was given account on how she was scammed by online fake profile said about £140,000 she gave out to the person.(according to BBC)
