$11 million Missing from Gambia’s Treasury After Exit of Jammeh

  

                                             

 $11 million is reportedly missing from The Gambia’s purse after the departure of their former leader, Yahya Jammeh  who went on an exile. Financial experts are still working to get the actual amount which Jammeh has whisked away in a statement released by Mai Ahmad Fatty who is an adviser to the new President, Adama Barrow, said experts are still working to know the  exact

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Fatty revealed that The Gambia was in financial crisis.” The coffers are virtually empty”

It is also reported that the leader took away luxuries of cars and other valuable items loaded in Chadian flight. However The Gambia’s airport authority was told not to allow Mr. Yahya Jammeh to leave with any of his belonging. Mr. Yahya Jammeh is currently in Equatorial Guinea.
