China birth rate up after one-child rule change

China birth rate rose to the highest peak since the year 2000, even with a reduction in the number of women giving birth. They reached the highest century birthrate last year.In 2015 Chinese government relax the law about family planning policies in the nation to give room for a second child to each family that intends to have. According to National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC) statistics 17.86 millions child was born in China last year, it means there is 7.9% increase in the birthrate statistics.
The average parent who already had a first child rose up from 30% in 2013 to 45% in 2016.
"While the total number of women of childbearing age fell by five million, the number of births increased significantly, showing that the family planning policy adjustments were extremely timely and extremely effective," said the NHFPC's Yang Wenzhuang.
